As Youth Impact’s mission is serving the community and being of impact to others. We had the opportunity to bring several organizations to our Fort Boulevard location and serve our families within our community with a mobile health fair and our monthly food pantry. This was held on March 30, 2017.
Health Fair and Food Pantry
Doctors and several students from Southwestern University in Dallas visited our facilities. A team from the Southwestern Christian Fellowship also came to provide information to the youth. Also, the Texas Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program participated in our Community Health Fair.
To help with our monthly food pantry, we received contributions from El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank.
Below are a few pictures from the event:
Conclusion
More than 50 families were able to not only get some free medical advice or services from medical professionals but also receive bags or boxes full of grocery to feed their family. We would like to thank all those organizations that proudly took part in this event to help serve those in need within the El Paso community.
Thank you to all our volunteers for always helping make our events a success! Click the link to see other posts on our monthly food bank giveaways.
